Bhaktapur

Bhaktapur, known locally as Khwopa and historically called Bhadgaon, is a city in the east corner of the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal located about 13 kilometres from the capital city, Kathmandu.

Bhaktapur is the smallest city of Nepal as well as the most densely populated. Known as the “City of Devotees,” it features sprawling, pedestrian-friendly durbar squares, the iconic 55-Window Palace, and towering temples, offering a glimpse into Nepal’s royal past.
