From Changi Singapore airport to Denpasar Bali, this my first time flying with Singapore Airlines on their Regional Business Class.
The seating configuration is a 2-2-2 on the Airbus A330–300, refitted Boeing 777–300, and Boeing 777–200 aircraft, the Business Class is large and spacious, and first impressions are good. The welcome and service levels are high, but am not feeling this is the best Business Class I have experienced, however for a short haul regional connection it is rather impressive compared to regional business class flights found in Europe and North America.
The seats are designed like a shell, with a gentle incline as it converts into a flat bed, the leather seat comes with a control panel that lets you personalise your seating preference. Panels between seats can also be deployed for more privacy, but not really required for such short flights.
The meal was good, plenty of food, however not impressed by the quality of it, even though there was menu options, I somehow didn’t feel it was exceptional.
Overall a good experience on Singapore Airlines, but I don’t feel it was the best I have experienced. For a short 2.5 flight, it was very comfortable seat and excellent entertainments system. The meal was just too much and too heavy, I would have preferred something less and more quality.
