Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel places you a 2-minute walk from Nordstan Mall and Trädgårdsföreningen park. You’ll reach Gothenburg Opera in 11 minutes on foot and the City Museum in 7, while Göteborg Centralstation is 5 minutes’ walk.
The location is the selling point about staying here. The room was comfortable and spacious and more than adequate for my stay. Breakfast was excellent. The only downside was the surprise that despite advertising a pool, it is not included in the room rate, instead, an extra fee is paid directly to the health club attached to the hotel.
This hotel lies opposite Gothenburg Central Station, within the city’s canal system. It offers a fitness club with an indoor pool, but this is an extra charge depending on the room rate, as well as free Wi-Fi access. All rooms have air conditioning and a tea/coffee maker.
A minibar and cable TV are provided in all of the spacious Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, Göteborg rooms, as well as soundproofing. Some feature a Nespresso coffee machine, as well as street or canal views.
In 6 minutes you can walk to Kungsportsplatsen to catch a Paddan boat tour and explore the city from the waterways. Gothenburg Museum of Art and the church-shaped Fish Market are both a 17-minute walk, and it’s a couple of minutes more to Haga’s wooden houses and cobbled streets.
