An outstanding modern hotel which surpassed expectations. Located in the commercial and cultural centre of the city of Palma. The hotel is located 500 metres from Palma de Mallorca‘s La Seu Cathedral and the hotel is just 5 minutes’ walk from some of Mallorca’s best shopping streets.
Hotel Almudaina offers contemporary rooms with air conditioning and wooden floors. Some rooms feature a balcony with views of the bay and cathedral.
A hot and cold buffet breakfast is served daily in the hotel’s café. Many restaurants and bars can be found within a short walk.
A minimalistic design with simple clean rooms with nice touches. I especially liked the added toiletries such as toothbrushes and razors, something I last only seen while travelling in Japan. The in-room mini-bar/fridge was well stocked and very reasonably priced.
The rooftop terrace and bar has superb views, with a sunning/tanning area on the second level of the terrace with a shower too. The only downside was that wifi was not strong on the terrace, and made it rather difficult to stay connected, but this is such a small this compared to the high quality and service of Hotel Almudaina.
